Sustainability Science has submitted "Methodology to Integrate Algae Wastewater Treatment Technologies to Avoid Emissions from Grey Infrastructure Wastewater Management Systems v1" for Public Comment. Comments can be submitted through August 26th, 2025.
Sustainability Science is excited to partner with Gross-Wen Technologies and Regen Network to develop a carbon credit methodology for algae-integrated wastewater treatment solutions. A leader in Life Cycle Assessment for algae-based systems, Sustainability Science provides expertise in evaluating environmental impacts, while Gross-Wen Technologies brings extensive experience in system design and deployment. This protocol highlights the significant benefits of advanced algae-based nutrient removal, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reductions, improved water quality, and enhanced sustainability in wastewater management.
This methodology uses the GHG & Co-Benefits in Watershed Carbon v1.0 protocol developed by Virridy.
